Scholarship Opportunities

Kent State offers a comprehensive portfolio of scholarships for incoming freshmen. To be considered for new freshman scholarships at the Kent Campus, you must submit a complete application for admission (including high school transcript, ACT or SAT scores and application fee) by Jan. 15.

Deadline extended to Feb. 1, 2017, for fall 2017 freshman applicants.

Freshmen applying after this date will be considered for scholarships if funds are available. Incoming freshman academic scholarships are based upon academic performance and, in some cases, financial aid as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Incoming freshman should submit the FAFSA by Feb. 1. Scholarships do not require repayment and are often renewable if students meet specified criteria.
